Since May 2024, the Government of Canada has been offering dental insurance for individuals who meet the eligibility criteria. This allows a large portion of the population to receive regular dental care and maintain optimal oral health.
Canadian Dental Care Plan
All dentists at Centre dentaire Laflèche have been registered as dental care providers under the Canadian Dental Care Plan since May 2024. We are proud to offer the best care to a greater number of patients.
Coverage under the plan varies based on each individual’s file and includes partial coverage for preventive care (cleanings, exams, etc.), restorations (fillings), extractions, root canal treatments, and fixed prosthetics.
This government insurance plan operates similarly to private insurance. Patients only pay the difference between the dentist’s fees and the amounts covered by the plan. Claims and submissions are processed electronically.
People aged 65 and over are no longer the only ones eligible!
